Where can i start my credit to build it? I can%26#039;t get approved for any credit cards.?

Congratulations on attaining the age of 18!

In an attempt to obtain credit card(s) to build a credit history, I know how it feels to be denied since it had happened to me too.

Never worry though! The mere fact that you were denied credit today is not the end of the %26quot;journey.%26quot; There are still (and I do believe) better days ahead when credit card companies and other lenders would be %26quot;chasing%26quot; you in order to offer you credit. Yes! I am quite confident 閳?provided you follow the following steps:

At the age of 18, you need to first understand that a credit card is a great financial tool. It can be more convenient to use and carry than cash, and it offers valuable consumer protections under federal law. At the same time, it%26#039;s a big responsibility. If you don%26#039;t use it carefully, you may owe more than you can repay, damage your credit rating and create credit problems for yourself that can be difficult to fix.

In view of the foregoing, my advice to you is this: Try Orchard Bank credit card. You can log on to their website: www.orchardbank.com. Or, better still, call them on 1-503-293-4037. They have credit for everyone!

After obtaining your credit card, please use it wisely and responsibly. Please don%26#039;t go beyond your credit limit, while, at the same time, endeavoring to paying off the bill each month as against the common tradition of paying only the minimum payment. You could if you wish allow a small balance of not more than 20% each month. Besides, avoid the temptation of using more than 35% of your credit limit each month.

If you follow the above instructions carefully, I am quite confident that after 2 years of no late payment, you would be surprised to see your credit score well above 600 points.

Good luck as you build your credit history!

Derrick

you build your credit by paying your bills on time, odds are at 18 you hav`nt had a lot of bills to pay so you have no credit record

Get a secured credit card.

This is where you deposit an amount of money and then you use the secured card like a regular card up to the amount you have on deposit.

After a few months of on time payments, they will convert it to a regular card.

Check with your local bank and see if they offer one.

a. Check your credit report. If there is something negative and inaccurate that is keeping you from being approved, then dispute it.

b. Enroll in college and then apply for a credit card from one of the many places that prefers to issue cards to college students.

c. Apply for a credit card that requires a cosigner and have someone with good credit (at your age, usually a parent) cosign.

My first recommendation is capital one, because they offer you 0% interrest rates as long as you had a job for a year or so..also first premier bank gold master card has been good to me but if you want to shop around then go to http://www.creditcards.com/bad-credit.ph... Also their is a book called credit secrets bible I found on (amazon.com), it was extremely helpful to me because I%26#039;m in the same boat as you. If you pick your favorite department store they will more than likely give you a credit card too, but its just for the store and has no other use, I have a (Macy%26#039;s card) but the one I love the most is my capital one card..... Word of advice check your credit score before you apply so at least you know whats on your report before the credit card companies look at it. (MyFico.com)

Try First Premier Bank or Orchard Bank credit cards. They are easy credit cards to get with bad or no credit that will help improve your credit score. They both do come with annual fees.
