Actually it was my sister who got her handbag snatched at the airport. We don%26#039;t know who to call to block her credit cards.
What do you do if you get your visa credit cards stolen in Peru? Who do you call?
She should call the following American number collect (410) 581-9994. It is better if she calls because if she doesn%26#039;t have the account number they are likely to ask a lot of security questions.

She should call the credit card company/bank that the cards are through. If she remembers who issued the credit cards, she should be able to call collect but she might have to go through directory assistance.
When I travel, I typically have a copy of my credit cards (including the back, but with the security code blacked out) stashed away in my suitcase, as well as leaving a copy with a family member/friend back home just in case.
