pay the minimum on the lowest interest rate ones or on the closed accounts

pay the max you can afford on the highest interest rate ones

or try to consolidate them all or into 2 groups with a very low interest rate card/s

You can%26#039;t. As long as you own anything on the cards, you ARE already broke. The question should be how to you dig your way out. The only answer that actually works is you officially have no life until they are paid off. Report It

The first thing that I would suggest, would be to review all your credit card statements to find out what interest rate are you paying on each. If you%26#039;re able to, transfer the balance of those cards with the highest interest rate onto the credit cards with the lowest interest rate. If possible, get a new credit card with limited time-zero percent interest rate. Keep an eye on your mail for such promotions. I get them often.

Once you get a credit card with zero or at least very low interest rate, transfer as much debt to this credit card from the card that you have with the highest interest rate. If you can move the balances of 2 or 3 credit cards into one card, you will have less payments to worry about. Once you have moved all of yor balances and you ended up with good interest rates, you want to make payments larger than the minimum allowed, in order to reduce your principal. One important thing to keep in mind is that you should not cancel your credit cards after you paid them or after moving the balances to other credit cards. In order to have a good credit score, you need to have open credit lines. You don%26#039;t need to use the cards. As long as you keep the cards for an emergency without using them your credit is benefiting from it. Try limiting your expenses and stick to a budget in order to reduce your debt. If you use a debit card for all payments rather than using a credit card, you%26#039;ll have less chances of increasing the debt. I hope this info helps you. good luck!
