Hi, mi father is very sick and my two siblings are with him, my mom past away 10 years ago, Im still here because i need to work and make money for them, but if in any minute something happens, i would have to go, and if so, my credit cards would be up to the limit, and i wouldnt be able to pay them. what would happen with the credit cards companies?
What happens if i Have to live the country without paying my credit cards?
Unless you have property or assets. Nothing will happen. They will write off their debt. It will appear as charged off on your credit report.
If the charges are incredibly large like hundreds or thousands, they will try and find you and send you a letter or give you a call.
Even if you stay in the country and dont pay them, they cant do anything to you unless you have money in the bank for a bank levy, a job where they can garnish your wages or property they can file liens on. Otherwise your cool.
Nobody goes to jail for not paying their credit cards in America. Just make sure you pay your taxes and any money you owe the government like school loans.
Otherwise, your free to go. Credit card companies have insurance. They dont care!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

They`ll chase you through InterPol..

If they can show fraud , like buying your tickets with the card , it becomes a criminal matter. Otherwise its a civil case they would file through a court.
If you return to the USA expect problems. The card companies dont normally let it go , unless there is no chance of recovering it.
