Have you ever stand in a long line up at the cash register only to see some idiots in front of you insisting on using their debit and credit cards on small things under $10 or $5 like a pack of gum or a bottle of water. Each person doing this probably takes another 3-5 mins to the line up. I can understand if you are buying big ticket items but to use cards to buy a pack of gum, come on! There should be an express check out line for those paying cash, afterall the merchants make an additional 4-5% because they don%26#039;t pay commission to the credit card companies.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I get paid to keep the customer happy and if it means taking a whole 30 seconds longer for them to use a credit/debit card than so be it.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Yeah it sucks, but hey it%26#039;s happened to me before too.
Sometimes we aren%26#039;t all perfect, and we have no cash on us, so we have to use debit.
Contrary to what you, those people aren%26#039;t arrogant jerks, they just don%26#039;t have the cash on them so they have to use debit.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I find it annoying that some places require me to use cash, and then hand me big piles of near worthless metal I%26#039;m supposed to haul around with me everywhere.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Not annoying at all. I do it all the time and get those credit card miles. Because I do that, I take some very sweet vacations several times a year all over the world!
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? No way.
I never carry cash anymore, so I purchase everything with my debit card.
3-5 minutes for each person??!!
That is outwageous.
It should take no more than 30 seconds more than paying with cash, unless the places you are complaining about still have those ancient things that are used to make carbon copies of each card.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? No I don%26#039;t find it annoying, only people in a rush do. I try not to carry a lot of cash on me because well I rather get robbed and have them take my debit card to where I can just cancel the account then to have cash on me to where they get away with it and I lose it all. Some people rather just carry cards, that way its easy to track what you take out of the account. Maybe you need to loosen up your schedule if you are in a rush and go to the store at a different time?
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I never use cash. I ALWAYS use my card, even for a 25 cent piece of candy. The stores that don%26#039;t make money on those transactions do fine in everything else they sell. Their owners tend to be doing very well financially. I%26#039;m not too worried about it. If everyone used check cards, there wouldn%26#039;t be a need for money, loose change, PENNIES (which I detest), and cashiers that can count. Life would be better.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? It is up to the merchant to put in an express lane. The consomer is well in his rights to use these methods of payments
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? nope i dont find it annoying.. sometimes some of us dont have cash on us.. and the fact that we do have credit/debit cards makes it convenient.. they do have places where they have checkouts that are cash only... maybe u should shop there and you%26#039;ll be a happier shopper..
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I don`t understand either. No matter what the price of a purchase your account will still be debited a service charge. Keep some cash on you all the time for things like this, it`s cheaper and faster.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? It can be a little annoying if you%26#039;re in a hurry. But this is why credit card companies are coming up with ways to allow you to just swipe your card and go if your purchase is under $25.00. It hasn%26#039;t happened yet, but it is in the works.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? yes, but what I find WORSE is when they write a check for
the small items.
That even takes longer.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Lots of people don%26#039;t carry much cash, and typically ATM transactions take around 20-30 seconds, not 3-5 minutes.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Actually in my opinion it is quicker most of the time. Cashiers nowadays have a hard time counting money and with a debit card or credit card they don%26#039;t need to do that.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? If we really, really try we can always find something wrong with somebody.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? It does not annoy me but amaze me. A lot of supermarkets have express check out lines for cash only and also for self check out too.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I agree, That sucks. What is even worst is paying with a CHECK. I had people in front me paying a 4/5 buck purchase with a personal check. Now that takes 10 minuts to process....sic...sic...sic
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I use my debit/credit card for just about everything. Especially now since my bank started a new program that gives me 5% interest on my checking account if I use my debit card 15 times a month as a credit card. I pay no additional fees for using it. Sounds like a win-win situation for me.
Also if the stores you frequent take 3-5 minutes per person for debit/credit cards to be processed than you should think about switching to a different store. The stores I use mine at do not take that long at all.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? If it%26#039;s taking a long time for people to pay with their cards - whatever type - it%26#039;s not their fault; it%26#039;s the vendor%26#039;s fault. If you pay attention, you%26#039;ll note that there are places where you swipe your debit card, punch in your PIN, and the reciept pops out right away. That%26#039;s because they have a decent network connection and credit service. Other places, you%26#039;ll swipe your card, and *actually hear the modem dialing up*.
In fact, it%26#039;s faster when I pay for my coke and donut at the local convenience store with my debit card than when the guy in front of me pays for his with a $20 bill and then spends five minutes putting the change in one pocket and the bills in his money clip.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Actually, I used to be a cashier, and it takes about the same amount of time, unless something is wrong with the debit/credit card machine (which is rare, but it does happen).
Loads of people don%26#039;t carry cash on them anymore. I don%26#039;t blame them. I must be one of the very very few that still don%26#039;t have a debit or credit card.
If you are in that much of a rush, you should have given yourself more time. Why do people become annoyed standing in line? It%26#039;s something in life we all deal with, and making huffing and puffing noises, as well as muttering under your breath distracts the cashier, and irritates other people for no good reason.
What;s more irritating, so to speak, to me, is when I was a cashier and people brought their WIC items to the express line. Now THAT takes time. But, you just deal with it. There are more important things in life to worry about that an extra 3 minutes of your time.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Not really because not everyone has cash on them and if not near your atm with your bank, you get CHARGED$1=$2 JUST TO GET MONEY, PLUS SOMETIMES THE MIN. IS $20.00
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I very seldom have cash on me anymore. I don%26#039;t see where it takes an extra 3 to 5 minutes, it takes maybe a few seconds. I have never paid a fee for using my debit card. What annoys me is people who are paying by check and don%26#039;t have anything prepared or paying by cash and can%26#039;t find their money or left it in the car.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I dont carry ANY cash just my credit card. I%26#039;ve charged it for as low as 50 cents. forget the $5..............some people think I%26#039;m nuts, but it%26#039;s better than getting mugged for cash and my credit card isnt signed in the back so they always ask for ID.
I just love it. I dont know what I would do without it. Especially for all those 99 cent purchases at taco bell :)
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? I%26#039;m sorry I would have to agree with the majority...I NEVER carry cash and if I do...its very little. As a person who has had their purse stolen before...as a policy, I just do not carry cash...when someone steals your stuff, you can%26#039;t get that cash back...its gone...but if they spend on your credit or debit card, you can get that back in FULL...so I would rather err on the side of caution then end up with all my money stolen. And it really doesn%26#039;t take that much longer...what about all those people paying with stuff in change that spend half an hour at the register counting out pennies, dimes and nickels...if they just had their card, they wouldn%26#039;t have to carry around the entire contents of their childhood piggy bank intheir pocket...it can really go either way if you take the time to think about. and implus...money is full of germs and BACTERIA...no thanks!
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? On the contrary..
I never carry cash at all.. I never %26#039;lose%26#039; a twenty or am quick changed by a slick cashier.. everything I spend using my debit/credit is tracked.. I have a record of virtually every penny I spend..
And as a quick service restauranteer, I prefer credit cards and debit cards because it%26#039;s actually faster than cash and that elderly person who spends time digging thru their purse for exact change.. THAT drives me nuts.. Yes, I do pay commission, but I more than make up for it in the ability to push customers thru my restaurant faster.. since we have used credit cards for our business.. we average, during a peak lunch, getting about 10 to 15 more customers thru each hour.. and customer counts are up more than 15% over five years ago.. I make more money, can pay more wages, and hire one or two more employees, and part of that is the speeding up process credit and debit cards allow..
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Here in the UK most supermarkets have check outs for 10 items or less, and some have a cash only checkout...been caught out with those before now as the sign is usually way above my head and I never think to look up there....
I always pay with a credit card because the housekeeping money is put into my savings account at the start of the month. The credit card bill is settled in full a day or two after the statement arrives. That way I am not charged any interest on useage of the card, but I am earning interest on the money being kept in my savings account....make your cards work for you not the banks..
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Idiot here! Went to the gym the other day with a friend as a guest, and they had some BS $2 charge that annoyed my friend, so instead of whipping out a couple of washingtons, he gave the guy a credit card. This totally annoyed the merchant! He actually asked if we had cash instead, which we did, and told him that we had cash, but were using the card. When asked why my friend just said %26quot;welcome to the 20th (sarcastic) century%26quot;.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? not really. i only use debit. i find when i have cash in my wallet, i spend it faster. you should complain to the stores you shop at because they should have express lines. it takes the same time for the cashier to count out change as swiping the card and entering a 4 digit pin number.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Get real some of these yuppies use them to purchase gum....
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? Sometime carrying only debit and credit cards for safety reason may not be so safe after all. I read in the newspaper in Mexico, muggers are taking revenge on people who carry no cash by forcing them to eat dog sh*t. In China, mugger stabs their victim when they don%26#039;t get cash. The bills there are mostly in red, so the saying goes %26quot;muggers are determine to see red... one way or another. So I always carry some bills around in case. Better to lose your case then get some psycho criminal angry. You never know what they may do.
Do you find it annoying that some people insist on using credit and debit cards to pay things under $5? no because some peepz have a hard time keeping cash. i think check writers r the worst. i agree with the cash line.
